About me
I got the travel bug when I was quite young as we spent all of our holidays at our family house in Spain. My parents used to drive all the way down with 4 kids in an old un air conditioned 4x4, taking the long way through France via the backroads exploring. We would stop off with family in Paris, drive over the Pyrenees into Spain, staying in little B&Bs in small villages along the way. I was always enthralled by the landscapes and new places we would encounter along the way.
We went skiing each year from a young age, which kickstarted my obsession with the sport. I spent my gap year skiing in France followed by backpacking through Asia, New Zealand, Fiji and ending up in LA. This trip really opened my eyes to the world and the unending possibilities of travel. I specifically chose a University degree that allowed me to spend a year abroad, which was in Paris and Buenos Aires, studying and working, and my long University holidays were spent backpacking around Morocco, exploring the South of France or Eastern Europe, so a career in travel was the logical next step, allowing me to work and travel simultaneously.
I have worked in the luxury travel industry for over 13yrs and have been lucky enough to have travelled a huge amount for work and personally all over the world. I am always planning my next trip, so doing it for a living is a joy! I have specialised in Ski, Europe, Indian Ocean and the Caribbean and travelled extensively all over Asia, parts of Africa, New Zealand, US, Canada and South America. With so much more to explore, my fascination with all things travel just never ends.
